The aim of this part of my site is to show you the beauty of the countryside in the vicinity of my dwelling place, which is the historic fortress town of Nieuwpoort in the west of The Netherlands. Fortress Nieuwpoort is a small town, 1.200 inhabitants only. My theme here is the presentation of some medieval Dutch castles and old Dutch countryhouses in the vicinity of Nieuwpoort.
